Dear champ, you may have made a lot of mistakes in the past, but remember that mistakes are what make man, and they are part of every human's journey. You may have done a lot silly things in the past, you may have said things you wish you never said,
you may have spent valuable time hanging out with toxic people you wish you had never met in your life, you may have visited places you regret going to, don't worry, I understand, and it's unapologetically okay to indulge in retrospection and feel bad for those things.
But, just like the famous OPRAH WINFREY whose past life was filled with obstacles, and almost unending sufferings especially as a BLACK, opened a new chapter of her life, and learnt to move on, just like BARRACK OBAMA, a former president of the U.S.A whose past life was filled with racial DISCRIMINATION,
and almost UNENDING pain and criticisms from whites who regarded him as TOO BLACK to be one of them, and BLACKS who regarded him as TOO WHITE to be one of THEM left his past behind, and embraced his bright future which led him into being one of the best presidents in the history of U.S.A today,
Just like a Nigerian female writer who goes by the pen name Sakeenah'writes, learnt from the mistakes of her past, rather than allowing them define her worth, just like the lessons of her past experiences made her a better human, just like she deleted toxic people and things from her life, removed the shades that was blocking her from seeing her bright future and just like she embraced her future without fears.
Likewise, from this moment onward, I want you to let go of anything or anyone that is deterring you from the path of greatness, I want you to close the past chapters of your life, I want you to accept whatever happened in the past as God's decree, learn from the mistakes of your past, embrace your bright future, and just let it go!
