RAMADAN DAY 20

RAMADAN DAY 20, THE NIGHT AND OF DECREE

Allah says in (Qur’an, 97:3).“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.”

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights of Ramaadan to a greater extent than at any other time, in the hopes of catching these exponential rewards.

During Ramadan, and especially in these last 10 days – with a special focus on catching Laylatul Qadr – we need to concentrate on doing more Ibadah and strengthening our connection with Allah.

Make a personal list, write down everything you need from Allah. The list should include personal struggles, things you need assistance with, desires you have for yourself and your family. Now is the time to beg Allah for His assistance, His guidance, His forgiveness and be sure to call upon Him by His Most Beautiful Names.

My Lord, Al-Mumin, The Inspirer of Faith! Purify my intentions, eliminate all doubt, and inspire me to do everything for Your sake with sincerity and commitment to You alone, help me to wake up at night to supplicate to you, make me witness and benefit immensely from the Night of Decree and make me among your slaves whose prayers will not be rejected on the night of laylatul Qadr. Amiin!
