O Allah, grant us righteous spouses, and bless us with obedient and virtuous children. Once our wishes have been fulfilled, protect our sons from marrying into families where their in-laws or wives will dominate their marital affairs, control their lives, and disrupt their peace of mind.
Shield our daughters from marriages into families that will treat her as a servant, husbands that will turn her into a punching bag, in-laws that will disturb her peace of mind, deny her of her marital rights, and reduce her to the role of a maid. Amin!
