Everything is not free in freetown! One of the greatest lessons I have learnt as a growth enthusiast, especially as a writer is that FREE TRAININGS OR THINGS IN GENERAL are not enough to move us FROM WHERE WE ARE TO WHERE WE WANT TO BE. Yes, that is just the hard truth about growth.
If you want to become a professional in any field, not just as a writer but even as a public speaker then you need to stop depending on FREE TRAININGS AND START REGISTERING FOR PAID TRAININGS, because the fact is that the knowledge you paid to acquire is given more value and yields more results than the knowledge given to you for free.
Just like a school student especially a university undergraduate who is sponsoring his own Education himself tends to give more value to his education and dedicate more time to it because he knows that he sweated for the money and for that reason, he cannot afford to fail.
Likewise, if you want to become a great writer, if you want to emerge as one of the world best inkers in 2024 who will dine and wine with reputable and award winning writers, then you must be prepared to go the extra mile. You need to stop waiting for one coach to organize free trainings for you and start paying for writing trainings.
The painful part is that more than 80% of people who register for free trainings take it for granted! All many do is observe and keep mute all through the training. Frankly speaking, this attitude is exasperating and discouraging!
Undoubtedly there are times where you may be so broke that paying for any training would be the last thing on your mind and at that moment, rather than sitting idle, registering for free trainings is the best. But if you know deep down that you have the means, especially if you are a student whose parents are more than 80% responsible for your feeding and school expenses,
please rather than wasting all your pocket money on rubbish and spending without budget or sense of responsibility, please SAVE OUT OF IT AND START REGISTERING FOR PAID TRAININGS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER AND PURPOSEFUL HUMAN.
Yes, everybody likes free things, but if you are sincerely intentional about becoming a better writer, especially a certified professional one, then please start forcing yourself to drop money for affordable writing trainings and webinars. It is for your own good champ.
